Description:
The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) intends to engage the services of a qualified contractor in the successful completion and execution of the improvement of means of egress for the offices at Building No.33, and reconfiguration and upgrading of its facilitie located in Jerusalem, Israel. The works shall be carried out in UNTSO Headquarters Office Container Building (Building No.33) at Armon Ha'Natziv, Jerusalem. A general plan of the area will be provided with the bid documents and drawings.The intent of the project shall be carried out as per the following:- Proper closing of openings on two floors and installation of two emergency exits and one main entrance.- Installation of facades to enclose an exterior staircase at the east wing.- Refurbishment of an existing toilet on the ground floor.The Bidders are expected to:- Design and provide facilities, materials/items in compliance with local codes, rules, regulations, and ordinances standards. - All work, materials and supplies provided during the execution of this Contract will be in full compliance with the provision of local Laws and regulation. - All works will be executed in accordance with the relevantlocal standards and Codes of Practices.- In the case of any inconsistencies among the documents that will constitut the bid and/or the provisions of the agreement shall have precedence and thereafter its annexes in the order below:A. UNGCCB. DrawingsC. Bill of Quantities (BOQ)D. Scope of Works (SOW)E. FIDIC Conditions of contract for construction.
